Orly Baked Collection: Ablaze & Hot Tropics

Bon Soir Mon Amies! I was at Sally's today and came across a new Orly collection, it's called Baked.  There were many fun, bright colors, and I am proud of myself for showing this level of restrain because I only picked up two shades.  There is a third one I will probably go back and pick up during the week but I had trouble finding a fourth, so only two came home with me today.  Did I mention they are on sale?  Because they are!  This month, Sally's has their entire Orly selection Buy One, Get One Free and this includes their new shades.  So that is the reason I couldn't just go home with three shades!!  I also picked up a couple from their clearance department, which were BOGO free as well.  So, here are today's picks from the Orly Baked Collection: Ablaze and Hot Tropics.

Hola hola amigos, how is everyone's Saturday going?  I am loving this day: first of all, the weather seems to be catching on to the fact that it isn't summer yet!  We had some terribly hot days last week but today was exceptionally pleasant, mid 80's here in the CA central valley, so that was really nice since we spent a good chunk of time outdoors.  On top of that, we took our kiddo to watch Maleficent and you know what?  We loved it.  I LOVED IT!  I know there's been a few negative reviews on it but I don't really see why!  Angelina Jolie was awesome in it, I bet it had to be the role of a lifetime for someone with so much love for kiddos and a dark-leaning past.  Don't worry, I won't discuss the movie details here, but that's what's been up in my neck of the woods... email me if you really want some spoilers!  :)

Wet N Wild Megalast All Access Beauty Collection Swatches

Hello my pretties!  I am taking a break from our Sinful Colors week, today we have a Wet N Wild Friday.  I was at Rite Aid and was surprised to find their entire stock of Wet N Wild Cosmetics BOGO free.  So... with a price tag of $1.99, it's probably the perfect time to pick up some from their Megalast line, IF you haven't already!

Hi guys!  I am back with another of the new Sinful Colors shades I picked up from the new displays at Rite Aid (along with some re-promotes).  I have been agonizing really, trying to figure out how to share these because they have new and older shades, some of which I have already shared here before.  I decided to share the new shades alone first, as to give them their moment of glory too, and then add the re-promotes and share the proper collections together at the end.

I would have done this off the bat, but the truth is I haven't had enough time for all the swatching, editing, and writing it takes to share a collection at once.  So, my apologies for that.  I am aiming for next weekend for the big collection shares so don't forget to stop by!  In the meantime though, here is another favorite of the new bunch: Coral Riff.

So, have you guys seen the new Sinful Color collections popping up all over the place?  Recently, they have put out SO MUCH new stuff that is is a bit overwhelming, in a good way, trying to hunt them down.  But!  I have, and today I have one of them to share with you, Steel My Heart.  I was happy to know I wasn't the only person who initially found it to be really similar to Fig.  So much so, that I almost passed it up.  Thankfully, my beloved hubster talked me out of that nonsense and I picked it up at the end.  How do they compare?  Well, keep reading to check it out:

China Glaze Sea Goddess Collection

 I know it's already Sunday, but you guys... if you haven't done so, get to your Sally's TODAY because this weekend only, they have the best deal on clearance inventory I have seen yet: buy one, get TWO free for China Glaze(also: buy one, get one free for FingerPaints).  The obvious reason here, in my opinion, is that they are really,really trying to push their infamous Crinkled Chromes out of their stock.  But, along with those Crinkled Chromes, surprisingly, are the Sea Goddess textured collection leftovers and depending on your local store, you might be able to score the entire collection for about $6.58, since they are priced at $3.29 each.  I know there was some trouble with availability for these when they initially came out, so if you didn't catch them while they were hot, go check that clearance section NOW! They also have leftover shades from the Halloween and Christmas collections on clearance.

So it's Friday guys, how is everybody doing?  I have been dying to try out my new Sinful Colors shades that are popping up in both Rite Aid and Walgreens, and after searching and waiting for a couple of weeks I finally got my hands on those pretties, so needless to say I am super excited!

Hi guys, how's the wacky weather in your neck of the woods this week?  Here in California (Central Valley) we got a nice little break from the scalding heat last week brought us (seriously, triple digits already!) and we got down to the low 80's, which is... you know, spring weather.  Today we're back to the mid 90's though, who knows what's in store for the official summer... yikes!

Hi guys, ahhhh... I have missed you so! No, really. I am sorry for going M.I.A. For what turned out to be a considerable amount of time. Without going into too much detail out of respect for this person's privacy, which they valued immensely, I lost someone dear to me to a terminal disease in a matter of five weeks and it has just been really hard to get out of my funk now that is all over, ya know? I have sat many times to write and I have just been uninspired, a bit unable to focus. Fortunately for me, my lucky asH has amazing friends, and it is thanks to them that I managed to get my shiP together and blog about it today!

Hello my lovely polish fiends, how was everybody's weekend?  Did everyone (in most of the the US?) remember to set the clock an hour forward Sunday?  I worked in retail in the late 90's and it's funny looking back, how no matter how many reminders were given leading up to the leap forward, someone was always late that Sunday.  I mean we had staff meetings, posters on the door, in the break-room, shot-outs from management on the way out the day before.  It didn't matter, at some point someone would forget.  I cannot imagine that being an issue this day in age anymore when everything updates automatically and I guess that is a good thing.  The only clock that needed adjusting around here was in the kitchen but here's the proof I'm an old, old soul when it comes to technology: I kind of miss the old manual days... am I alone with this one?

 Holy Smokes... Sinful Colors is on a roll!  I was at my local Walgreens and came upon a ginormous display labeled Mod Mod World by Sinful Colors.  It houses the collections I posted here and here, plus four new shades that I snagged up and will share with you tonight, so let's get to it, yeah?
