Revlon Wild

Hello my pretties!!  If you are in the USA, I hope you had a great Martin Lurther King Jr Day.  I unfortunately didn't get the day off from work, but it's still one of my life's highlights to share a birthday with one of history's greatest!

I have another new shade from Revlon to share with you today, let's get to it!

Revlon Pink Glaze

Hello my pretties! Happy Friday!  I hope everyone had a lovely week.  I stopped by Rite Aid and picked up a bunch of Revlon polishes because the entire line has a 40% off discount.  Today I have one of the shimmer toppers, it is called Pink Glaze, here it is!

My 'Murica Mani: Independence Day Jelly Sandwich

*Nothing to disclose*

Hello my pretties!  I hope everyone is having a phenomenal weekend.  I am getting ready to go spend some time with the family, which is always exciting but exhausting.  We are a very cheerful bunch so our family reunions usually turn out to be a bit on the loud side, a lot on the fun side, you know what I mean?  Anyways, I just wanted to share my awesome nails with you today before all that goes down.  I gotta say, I am very excited to actually go show them off! :)

Revlon Autumn Spice & Sally Hansen Copper Penny

Hi guys!  I am having a hard time believing it's autumn.  I mean, sure... we had a little sprinkle a couple of weeks ago but here in California we are constantly hitting the mid 80's so it just feels like a reeeeally long summer... but not on my nails. no sir!  Not today, check it out!

Revlon Whimsical - Mermaid Week, Day 7

I tried to do some killer nail art I had envisioned for today's post, but after a couple of hours it became evident that wasn't going to happen... what a mess!

Instead, I am closing Mermaid Week with one of my (and everyone's) favorites: Revlon Whimsical.

Revlon Wintermint vs. Sally Girl Brainy (Mermaid Week, day 2)

Ladies: It's Mermaid Week here, so brace yourself for all the mermaid scales you can handle!

My friend Melissa over at Lacquer Reverie brought up a great point on yesterday's post: SH Mermaid's Tale.  She asked: "why all the mermaid polishes?".  I don't have an answer; but I figured I should check how many I own.  Turns out, I don't have enough with that name to dedicate an entire week to them, but definitely enough for a Mermaid theme week.

The polishes I am comparing today are both near dupes of the elusive Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream, which I don't own :(  I will compare the two alternatives for you today though:

I have my first comparison for you today!  It's probably no surprise or isolated incident: I bought a dupe.  Actually, I have bunches of dupes but today I am going to share with you guys my latest:

Revlon Elusive

I went to Rite Aid in search of the new Sinful Colors Christmas display that are starting to show up.  I didn't find it yet, but as I looked through the new Revlon section my heart skipped a beat.  Revlon had a BOGO half off sale and I spotted a new shade!  Revlon Elusive is another one of those "too cool for words" wonders; it has different sized green-to-turquoise iridescent glitter suspended in an opaque black base.  I will have to apologize for my technology; my Canon insists on warming up this picture, so here is my attempt to bring it back to true color, which resulted in shrimp skin!  So with that in mind, get ready for some true eye-candy gone wrong:
