Hi guys!  I have been meaning to try out some indie nail polishes for a long time, but the part of the brain in charge of delaying gratification is a bit off with me so I am not a big fan of internet shopping.  I find the process of polish hunting and same-day swatching therapeutic, but I was aware I was missing out big-time.   "I'm treating myself to some indies for Christimas though!" I told myself all year.

Well, Christmas came early for me last week, in the form of some magical polishes I was nice enough to order for myself last month, teehee!  When I saw that ILNP was coming out with multi-chrome (Ultra Chrome is the official term on the site) flakies, I ordered five shades even though it was a pre-sale because flakies.  Also, multi-chrome.  And Christmas.  How could I not?!?!  Today I am showing you Metropolis, check it out!

Hello everyone, I am SO happy to share today's collection with you guys!  I should apologize for making today's post so picture heavy.  I actually considered splitting it into two posts, but one of the things I like about this collection the most is the way these colors look together, so.  Sorry but not really. ;)

FingerPaints Kaleidoscope Collection Swatches (Picture Heavy!)

Hi guys, I hope everyone had a fun and love filled Valentine's!  Mine was, I had been waiting for season two of House Of Cards for so long that it was really nice to be glued to the couch all day watching it with the hubby while my mom watched our daughter.  Cheese aside, I also want to apologize for being away so long.  I started skating again and it's been really tough on my chronic couch-potato booty, I have been going to bed super early so it has been hard to make time to blog with all this sleeping I am doing at night instead, blah... boring!  I need to shuffle my schedule a bit, so I will most likely be posting during the -day- in the next few weeks (gasp!), while my body adjusts.

Okay, back to the reason I am here: Flakies!  So many flakies!!  I found the new Kaleidoscope Collection at Sally's, which actually includes a black creme that I passed on, and I have the five flakies included in it here for you today.  So without further ado, I bring you the flakies in FingerPaints' Kaleidoscope Collection:

Hi guys, how is everyone this Monday?  My goodness, how I love the December holiday season;  season of party every week!  In my family, it kicks off December 12th, then comes the 24th, 25th, 31st...  Then comes January with their Reyes Magos on Jan 6th(three wise men who leave gifts inside children's shoes, like Santa) and the cutting of the Rosca de Reyes, and it closes with  my birthday the 15th!  This last one is not a generally recognized holiday, but it's okay, we still get a day off to celebrate because I'm lucky to share my b-day with one of humanity's greatest: Dr Martin Lurther King Jr.! :) 

Okay, back to present day: I have a super cool polish to share with you today, and it's something I'll probably wear for New Year's.  Check it out:

Mermaid Week, Day 4: The Holographic, Green Ocean and Mermaid Tears.

I am not gonna lie, more thought went into arranging the names of the polishes on today's title than I'd like to admit.  Really though, doesn't it sound like the title to an awesome sci-fi novel?

I have three polishes to share with you today so I'm going to get right to it.  First, we have Mermaid Tears by OPI, three coats.  Perfect formula!
