China Glaze Loco-Motive vs. Sinful Colors Black Magic vs. NYC Rule The City Comparison

*Purchased by me*

Hello my pretties, I am back hoping everyone is having phenomenal weekend.  Remember last year when Sinful Colors put out a LE shade called Black Magic with their Halloween display?  It quickly became super popular and flew off the shelves in a couple of days, never to be seen again.  I had imagined SC would add this shade to their Halloween display this year, but was a bit shocked to find that they are re-promoting Pumpkin Spice instead.  So last month when I saw China Glaze's All-Aboard Collection at my local Sally Beauty Supply (I shared Choo-Choo Choose You with you guys here) I initially passed up Loco-Motive, because it seemed like an exact Black Magic dupe to me.  The same thing happened when I saw NYC Rule The City from the Fall Fashion Queen Collection ( I shared NY Princess here).  In the end -of course- I went back and picked up both of them, and I swatched them side by side for you today!

SinfulShine Shining Couture vs. SinfulColors Kissy: Dupes?

*Purchased by me*

When I saw Sinful Colors Shining Couture in the new SinfulShine line display (which I showed you here) I instantly thought "it's Kissy!" and picked it up under the assumption this was another a case of an updated formula.  So, I swatched them together and I have the results to share with you guys today.  Let's get to it!

SpaRitual Wilderness: Orly Just Peachy Dupe!

*Purchased by me*

Hey there my pretties, sorry I have been MIA for a whole week, I mostly blame my kid, because her birthday and celebration(s) happened from Thursday to Sunday and it was kind of crazy busy around here... but maybe there's a little procrastination on my side there to be blamed as well, who knows... who cares?  I have great a bunch of awesomeness to share this week :)

I have satisfied a lemming!  You guys... I had been going bananas trying to find the coveted Orly Just Peachy at my TJ Maxx and Marshalls with no luck.  I had seen a twin sibling existed out there (click here for a side by side comparison) and guess what?  I found the twin!  Are we ready for this?  Here is SpaRitual Wilderness!

Sally Hansen Pacific Blue vs. NYC Ocean Blue... Dupes?

*Purchased by me*
You probably heard it already.  Sally Hansen changed everything but the name of a classic again: Pacific Blue.  If you are unfamiliar with this situation, I strongly suggest reading Gianna's original post and follow up over at Nouveau Cheap.  Well guys, I think I found a decent alternative.  Check it out:

Sinful Colors: Steel My Heart vs. Fig

So, have you guys seen the new Sinful Color collections popping up all over the place?  Recently, they have put out SO MUCH new stuff that is is a bit overwhelming, in a good way, trying to hunt them down.  But!  I have, and today I have one of them to share with you, Steel My Heart.  I was happy to know I wasn't the only person who initially found it to be really similar to Fig.  So much so, that I almost passed it up.  Thankfully, my beloved hubster talked me out of that nonsense and I picked it up at the end.  How do they compare?  Well, keep reading to check it out:

FingerPaints Copy Cat vs. Maybelline Silver Swank

Remember a few months ago when Maybelline released the Color Show Brocades collection?  I know many people had a hard time getting their hands on them because they landed so late in certain areas, if at all.  I had a hard time finding Silver Swank in particular, so when I saw the new FingerPaints display my eyes were immediately drawn to this shade and my heart started beating faster even though I had recently purchased Silver Swank, I guess I had just trained myself to scan for that shade because finding it felt like a great success!  I picked it up and read the name: Copy Cat.  Haha!  It was meant to be featured in a dupe post, let's get to it!

Essie Sew Psyched vs. Sinful Shine Man Hunt (Chanel Khaki Vert Dupes)

Greetings my lovelies,

Today I have a comparison post for you!  It's been a while right?  I don't have much to say for myself for this oversight other than I have been too distracted by so many sales and beautiful releases in the last couple of months to go through my stash.  But worry no longer, I did that today and now I have the results here to share with you tonight.

NYC Top Of Gold (Zoya Maria Luisa Dupe)

Hi guys, how is everyone this Monday?  My goodness, how I love the December holiday season;  season of party every week!  In my family, it kicks off December 12th, then comes the 24th, 25th, 31st...  Then comes January with their Reyes Magos on Jan 6th(three wise men who leave gifts inside children's shoes, like Santa) and the cutting of the Rosca de Reyes, and it closes with  my birthday the 15th!  This last one is not a generally recognized holiday, but it's okay, we still get a day off to celebrate because I'm lucky to share my b-day with one of humanity's greatest: Dr Martin Lurther King Jr.! :)

Okay, back to present day: I have a super cool polish to share with you today, and it's something I'll probably wear for New Year's.  Check it out:

China Glaze Strawberry Fields vs. Sally Hansen Twisted Pink

Hello guys!  How is everyone doing on this lonely Monday, stuck between a weekend and a holiday?

I have a comparison for you.  I picked up Twisted Pink at Rite Aid last week for around 70 cents on clearance.  It reminded me of China Glaze Strawberry Fields in the bottle, so naturally I swatched them side by side on my nails and I have the results to share with you today!  Let's get to it:

Hello everyone, it's 11/11... make a wish!  I wish a great Veterans Day to all my American friends.

I have another comparison for you today.  I picked up Sinful Colors 24 Karat and right away it reminded me of Essie's As Gold As It Gets.

China Glaze Ruby Pumps, Sally Hansen Red Carpet and Finger Paints Romanticism Ruby Comparison.

Who doesn't love China Glaze's Ruby Pumps?  It's a classic, the polish that started it all for me.  Super fine red glitter suspended in a red jelly base, perfect two coater formula, easy removal... what's not to love about it?  Needless to say, when I found out Sally Hansen made a dupe, I just had to get it as my Ruby Pumps bottle was almost gone.

Revlon Wintermint vs. Sally Girl Brainy (Mermaid Week, day 2)

Ladies: It's Mermaid Week here, so brace yourself for all the mermaid scales you can handle!

My friend Melissa over at Lacquer Reverie brought up a great point on yesterday's post: SH Mermaid's Tale.  She asked: "why all the mermaid polishes?".  I don't have an answer; but I figured I should check how many I own.  Turns out, I don't have enough with that name to dedicate an entire week to them, but definitely enough for a Mermaid theme week.

The polishes I am comparing today are both near dupes of the elusive Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream, which I don't own :(  I will compare the two alternatives for you today though:

Revlon Naughty vs. Sinful Colors Who's the Gloss (Chanel Paradoxal Dupes)

I have my first comparison for you today!  It's probably no surprise or isolated incident: I bought a dupe.  Actually, I have bunches of dupes but today I am going to share with you guys my latest:
