OPI Reached My Gold!

Hi guys, ahhhh... I have missed you so! No, really. I am sorry for going M.I.A. For what turned out to be a considerable amount of time. Without going into too much detail out of respect for this person's privacy, which they valued immensely, I lost someone dear to me to a terminal disease in a matter of five weeks and it has just been really hard to get out of my funk now that is all over, ya know? I have sat many times to write and I have just been uninspired, a bit unable to focus. Fortunately for me, my lucky asH has amazing friends, and it is thanks to them that I managed to get my shiP together and blog about it today!

I have a super cool glitter topper, OPI Reached My Gold!  Here it is!
OPI Reached My Gold!

OPI Reached My Gold! has a clear base with glitter in big golden hexagonal, regular sized holographic and small circle forms.  I am wearing two coats for both pictures.
OPI Reached My Gold! over Sinful Colors Blue Crushin
I decided to layer it over Sinful Colors Blue Crushin and I am pretty happy with the result.  I had a little bleading in my middle finger but that was absolutely a user error, I didn't really wait for the base color to dry before dabbing the glitter on so that is my bad!  I topped it all off with a coat of my beloved Seche Vite topcoat.  What do you guys think?  I think it would look better with an even darker color, so mental note for next time!

Note: Going on a personal tangent, continue at your own risk. :)

Actually, I just want to thank, and tell you guys about my very cool friends, Sarah and her roommate Patrick, pictures for reference :)
Sarah "WannaBee" #3
Sarah is my roller-derby wife but we currently play for different teams, after I went for a switch-a-roo this season for reasons. :)
This is Patrick the Great
I have had some of the best times this year with these two, and it says a lot because last time we hung out was for my birthday in January.  Sarah is my unofficial therapist and confidant who loves me just like I am, so she knows my deepest secrets!  they took me out on an awesome mini-adventure that culminated with a polish haul courtesy of Pat, so thank you SO MUCH again guys:

For the polish therapy...

the Bass Pro Shop outing... man is that place HUGE!!!

and then there's the FUDGE!

... it really means the world to me you don't give up on me and I love you!
Judgemental fish approved of me in the end.

PS.  Pat is awesome beyond words, such a sport and an amazing uncle... you should have seen this poor guys cuticles, so dry and stained by the end of the day! :)

Thank you too, my friends and readers for checking on me and the shot outs as well: Melissa, Cynthia, everyone who stops by,  I've missed you guys oodles too!

    1. Thank you, can you believe I had never been there? I had assumed it was full of fishing stuff and boats, doh! It is green, kind of like calypso but a little lighter... I should probably swatch it by itself but forgot to take pictures lol, ooops!!!
